ZWSOFT questions
What is the difference between ZW3D and ZWCAD?
ZWCAD is 2D drafting, built to read and write the drawing files everyone else uses. ZW3D adds solid and surface modelling and assemblies. If your work is drawings, ZWCAD is enough. If you have to model the part, you need ZW3D.
Will it open the drawings my clients send?
Reading and writing the common drawing formats is the whole reason this product line exists, and it is what most buyers come to it for. If you have a specific file from a specific release that has to open, send it to us before you buy and we will check rather than promise.
Is it a real alternative to the market leader?
For some work, yes, and for some, no. It costs a fraction of the alternatives and does the core of the job. Where it tends not to fit is deep vertical work and long-established add-on chains. Tell us what the seat has to do and we will give you a straight answer, including if that answer is a different product.
Is a transferred licence legally valid?
Yes. Perpetual software licences may be lawfully resold within the EU once distribution rights are exhausted, under ECJ Case C-128/11 and Directive 2009/24/EC Article 4(2). Every transfer we complete follows publisher terms, the previous owner ceases use, and you receive the documentation.
Do I get an invoice and transfer documentation?
Yes. You receive a proper invoice and the full transfer documentation. All prices are net, this is a B2B shop.
